THE BRAIN ART · DIGITAL COMMISSIONS
Original digital work created for your purpose, with the rights agreed from the start.
A commission can include ordinary shared commercial use, protected exclusivity or a complete copyright transfer. The broader the rights, the higher the price, because those rights affect how the artist may use or license the work in future.
How a commission will work
Before work begins, we will agree the brief, scope, delivery files, timing, revisions, price and licence in writing. This keeps the creative work and the customer’s rights clear.
- Digital delivery only
- Defined project and intended use
- Agreed file formats and sizes
- Written licence supplied with the work
Choose the rights your project needs
Copyright remains with the artist unless the agreement expressly says it is transferred.
Shared CommercialThe most economical business option. You may use the commissioned work as agreed, while the artist may license it elsewhere.
ExclusiveA premium option protecting your use within an agreed project, market, territory or period. The artist still owns copyright.
Full Rights TransferThe highest-priced option. Copyright is assigned to you by a separate signed agreement, where the rights are available.
